Before & After:
Old Lazy Susan REVAMPED!
I was out shopping last year and came across a Lazy Susan that had been wood-burned and painted with an adorable design. While I desperately wanted to buy the piece, the price was a bit out of my budget. Even though I had never done any wood burning, I decided to give it a shot and ordered a wood burning kit. I then began my search for a large inexpensive wooden Lazy Susan.
I found this Lazy Susan at an antique store in McGregor, Iowa, for just ten dollars. It couldn't have been more perfect for my project!
I put the Lazy Susan away for several months. I think I was afraid to tackle this project. I decided to break it out and begin the wood-burning process. I painted the piece yesterday and I LOVE how it turned out! Sometimes you just have to DIVE IN!
My new and improved Lazy Susan:
I really enjoyed the process and outcome...
I think there will be more wood-burning in my future!
