MAY DAY and MMCA 2015!

In the spirit of May Day, I have a short, sweet, and spring-filled happy post for you folks!

This morning I packed up a few of my newest Iowa-inspired paintings and made my way east, toward the eclectic and artsy riverside town of McGregor, Iowa!

I was so excited and eager to get to the McGREGOR-MARQUETTE Center for the ARTS that I had to use the cruise control to keep from getting a speeding ticket. The drive was quite breathtaking, the energy from the artists and staff dropping off and accepting artwork was mesmerizing, and I left completely enchanted! I cannot wait to see the first show of the season, along with all of the artwork displayed in the retail gallery alongside the Great Mississippi River.

I am beyond thrilled to be represented by this beautiful gallery space and can't wait to blog about it. Please stay tuned for more details and info about upcoming exhibitions, opening nights, artist demonstrations, and more at MMCA!
