northeast Iowa photographer |JWebb Fine Art and Photography | Beautiful End of Summer Session

I was so honored to take this beautiful end of summer family session for my sweet friend and her gorgeous family. As summer raced by us we've enjoyed all of the wildflowers in the fields and ditches. I'm constantly falling in love with a new wildflower and this month it's Goldenrod. So when  I told my friend that I really wanted to take her family session in "the weeds" behind my house we laughed, but she agreed! I'm so happy she trusted me! We didn't have much time in their schedule before the sun would go down, but in a flash we were able to capture these super sweet images and I am in love with them!

The light, the joy...

The tender moments, sweet snuggles, and silly kisses...

That precious baby face growing into a beautiful little girl face...

and most of all, I love the people in these images!

It's always especially sweet to photograph those dear to my heart.. Love you guys!

I absolutely love documenting the special moments for friends to look back on for years to come... AND I love making new friends and getting to know my clients. I hope you enjoyed this look at some of my favorites from this gorgeous end of summer family session!

Studio K8Ki | Branding Art & My New Look

Over the summer I teamed up with this gorgeous, super talented, artist and graphic designer for a fresh new look for my JWebb Fine Art - Photography brand. Ketaki Poyekar is the Mastermind/Artist/Owner behind Studio K8Ki and I love her style! (Find out more about Ketaki, her art, her branding, and her life here.)

When Ketaki (pronounced "K8-Ki") moved to small town Iowa with her husband and fur-baby a year and a half ago, she immediately reached out to me as another artist in the area and we became fast friends! From the start I could see her motivation, her determination, and OBVIOUS style sense! I mean seriously folks, just check out her amazing wardrobe selection and accessories that she chose for her very own JWebb Fine Art Photo Session.

So, a few months ago we began discussing a re-brand for my photography and I was super excited to see what she would come up with. I've had the same logo and brand that I created myself over ten years ago, so I was ready to see what another set of super talented and creative eyes would come up with!

Ketaki jumped on the project with a fun eagerness and asked me questions like what were my favorite colors, or if I had anything specific in mind. I simply told her I loved grays and plum and left the rest up to her. I really wanted to see what she would come up with.

Using my current website and some of my most recent photos she quickly came up with her take on what my brand could be. Choosing elegant fonts, using a soft plum gray, and adding hand drawn whimsical florals, Ketaki created a beautiful new logo and look for JWebb Fine Art & Photography. I feel the new logo/brand really represents my love for the outdoors, wildflowers, natural emotion, and my overall whimsical style.

I really love my new look and can't wait to continue developing my new brand! Thanks Ketaki!!
